City of Gentry Public Works Laborer must be able to work outdoors safely in all weather conditions, lift up to 75 pounds, operate/maintain a variety of heavy equipment and perform manual labor activities. Possible jobs sites will include construction, treatment plant, road maintenance, park maintenance, and other related areas as requested by the supervisor. Must be in Good physical condition and able to Lift, Carry and Climb.
Must attend training sessions on Thursday nights.
Must be able to complete the required training classes in 1 year.
Must be willing to answer calls in All weather conditions Day or Night 7 days a week.
Must be able to pass a background check.
You must hold a valid driver’s license.
